Donut Dollies
Would anyone like to buy my extremely ugly repainted monster high dolls!? I’ve had so many people tell me they are ugly & I ruined them & I pretty much just suck as an artist so I need to just give up. I’m hearing too much negative feedback to where I dropped the prices of my dolls to what they really should be, 15 bucks a piece. I would just give them away for free but I’m really trying to make some extra money to buy stuff for my baby due in October. Sorry I have hurt everyone’s eyes with my horrible repaints…I guess I really need to give up as an artist…I’m just not up to par :’(
Haters can suck it, I think this repaint is very pretty! I love her eyes! If you still want to sell her, don’t sell yourself short— list her for your original price! But if you like her, you should keep her because she’s lovely and you should be able to enjoy your hard work!

Thank you so much! It was definitely a learning process for me! I started with just regular yellow spray paint for plastics on his body, I got it from Michael’s. Unfortunately, it didn’t dry on his hands, feet or head because those are made out of vinyl…oops! I then painted his hands and feet with yellow acrylic paint, but when I tried to paint his head the same way, it came out very uneven and with extremely visible brush strokes. So THEN I got some VHT yellow vinyl dye (which is a spray paint, but for vinyl), which I should have done to begin with, and sprayed his head with that. A long learning process but luckily, even though I used 3 different kinds of yellow paint, they all dried the same color XD
